There are around 2.5 million instances a year of guns saving someone's day. Often the media does not report these stories completely or fairly. This is your opportunity to share your story with those who are interested. Send your true story of how a firearm made or saved your day. You have the right to protect yourself and we want to hear your experience.

Include in your story:  *Where were you when the incident occurred?     *What were you doing and what was the possible motive of the intruder or attacker?  *Who else may have witnessed the event*Was the event reported to law enforcement?  *Did you know others involved prior to the event? *Any other details of interest you wish to share.

Guns for Good goals.   First- Guns for Good is a firearm related talk show inviting firearm experts and leaders together so we may learn from experts and experience. Second- We encourage people to share their guns for good stories. We want to hear your experiences where a firearm may have saved the day. Third- Guns for Good Inc. non profit has been formed with the hopes of building a facility able to provide fitness, firearm education, entertainment, and community events.

"The Gilmore Gun - Echo of Murder" by Dennis R. Stilson
The true account of personal connections and experiences with one of the highest profile cases in American history. Gary Gilmore murdered two men and was the first to be executed for a decade in all of America. Twenty five years after the execution the murder weapon reappears in the hands of our author who is now a bail bondsman, pawnbroker, FFL firearm dealer, and bounty hunter. This rare perspective describes his extraordinary link with Gilmore's family and the legendary weapon used in both murders. The Gilmore gun as it is now known, is the only firearm to be involved in any case which legally affected so many at such an important level, the reinstatement of capital punishment. A brief account of the Gary Gilmore case reminds us of the historic story that now continues with the depiction of the murder weapon and the personal trials involving this extraordinary gun. This story will demand your attention.

Guns for Good Stories

T. S. - Virginia - I told him to give me two minutes then knock and yell warrant. He was a bit ahead of schedule. Just as I reached the back door it flew open hitting me in the head and knocking me down. I jumped up a started chasing him when I was shot twice in the back by his girlfriend. I turned and shot back.....

O. R. S. - Utah - The sound of voices awoke me when I heard someone say "there's somebody in there, let's get him." I grabbed my seven shot revolver and jumped out on the opposite side of the car as six men came towards me...
M. T. - California - As I exited the office I seen 8-9 young guys gathered around my Cadillac. I walked up to the other side and quickly jumped into the car. One of them said "we want this car" I pulled my stainless 44. magnum with the long barrel from under the seat.....

Phoenix, Az. - I was in the state attending college for the first time and decided to stop off at a gas station to grab some coffee and doughnuts before heading to a friends house. It was around 11pm when I noticed 3 bums digging through a trash can on the side of the building. Now I had also parked on the side of the building so I was not in plain view of the front door. As I was walking up the sidewalk the 3 of them blocked my path and approached me. I was sort of nervous, however, 3 weeks prior I had purchased my first handgun.....

M. B. - Utah - My neighbor had recently died from cancer. His relative's asked me to help keep an eye on the home. The night of the viewing while everyone was at the mortuary I saw flashlights inside the home. I walked to the front of the house and saw someone duck below the window. A few moments later I heard someone leaving through the back door. I ran around the house and yelled stop, just then another person came out the back door and fired a shot at me. I drew my gun....
